Despite the warning on the glass, this actually contains chili powder. The chili powder made me worry a bit, but what I actually have a problem with is the salt content*. I freely admit to loving the sweet mango lassis found in Indian restaurants across America. This is not a sweet lassi; it's a tangy, overly salty lassi.
My father has always told me that if you like everything you try you're not trying enough things, so this goes on the list of things that prove I'm trying enough things.
Difficulty Level: Easy
Will It Get Made Again?
I would not make this again without modifying it. I would cut both the ginger and salt in half and add a sweetener like honey to get something I'd like better.
*I'll rant about salt in a later post when I make oatmeal again.
